When I opened the package I wasn't sure what it was because the orange was bright, not subdued like in the pictures. It's close to being neon and my 10 yr old, who has recently become very conscientious about her apparel and defining what "cool kids" wear, LOVES IT! Appears to be nice quality and it's not bulky!! We're happy with it.
