These shorts for great, and are very comfortable. I have a 32” waist with a larger butt and thicker thighs, and these were exactly the fit I was looking for. I gave them 4 stars because the button fell off the first time I re-buttoned it after using the bathroom. I sewed it back on but that’s pretty annoying right off the bat. Other than the button, the material doesn’t feel flimsy, and stretches well.Overall though, for $30 it’s a great value for the money. Very easy to move around, and they fit great with the shorter seam for hot days and showing off all of the squats you’ve done at the gym.The product is relatively inexpensive. I'm 5'1, 205, 35 waist, no butt. The fit of the XL was snug in the hips and upper buttocks... the back pocket held a wallet perfectly... I wouldn't trust a phone in any of the front pockets. The material was much lighter weight compared to the Columbia short, however the inseam on that short is 7... but frankly, a much better short ($40 on Amazon)... I'm sticking to those.I wear these as everyday shorts for much of the year. I have bought them several times in various colors. The pockets are deep and secure, so I can carry all my stuff. They launder well. The fabric is rugged and stands up to active use.I'm 5'11" and 160# with a 32" waist. The 29-31 medium fits perfectly. I've worn a lot of 5" shorts from a lot of makers. These are the best.Very comfortable shorts that are above the knee.Bought these for teen boy. The cut in the seat is odd…. It looks puffy and baggy like it’s meant for a kardashian but t.Good price, but they weren't as nice as the other shorts I have purchased from here. These shorts aren't as stretchy around the waste band. Brand seems a bit inconsistent in their size and quality. My previous shorts were great but this pair in-particular was not great. Make sure they work for you before and return them if they're not what you want. Meripex has great customer service. The button is ver difficult to butt at first but after a few uses it works fineMade in China, Have a 36'' waist and extra-large fit fine out the bag. Not so sure if short inseam shrinks.I'm on the short side so normal 9" inseam shorts are like long pants on me so had been looking for something shorter.Had never heard of Chubbies so being cheaper than them wasn't a selling point, the 5.5" inseam was what intrigued me as shorter shorts are nowhere to be found here in Australia.I'm really happy with the length but got to say the finish of the sewing was pretty poor. Loose threads everywhere and never sure if it's just safe to cut these off for fear that will start an avalanche of unraveling threads. Would hate for my bot bot to pop out in public or even worse if Mr Todger was to make an unexpected appearance.I decided to buy a genuine pair of Chubbies to compare. These are made in China and the Chubbies came from Vietnam but the quality was worlds apart, there wasn't a loose thread anywhere of the Chubsters, very neat stitching all around compared to these and the quality of the material is much better on the Chubsters as well.So these are comfortable enough to wear around the house and yes I did cut off all the loose threads but the Chubsters will be the only ones to make a public appearance as I don't want to frighten the woman and children with an unscheduled view of the frank and beans!
