Thanks…Again!I just purchased my third pair of these pants. They are my new favorite chef/ ranch work pants. The legs are nice and long, which is important to me since I am a tall lady.I notice though, that they stack nicely around my athletic shoes, which means that, for a shorter person, you would probably just have that familiar urban bagginess at the ankles and wouldn't have to hem them. I am seriously small-waist-big-hips pear shape body type. I hate it when my pants ride down when I sit down or bend over, because they are too large in the waist. The elastic-waist-drawstring combination on these pants is a blessing! They fit so comfortably and stand up equally well to chopping in the kitchen or chainsawing around the ranch. I made a commitment a few years ago to only wear natural fabrics. I have stuck with this for many years, even though it is hard to find chef attire that is 100% cotton, rather than poly/cotton. These guys are 100% cotton, no compromise. I wash them in the washer with cold water, and then line dry them to protect against shrinkage and the deterioration/discoloration that results from frequent laundering of 100% cotton. This doesn't mean you couldn't tumble them low heat; I just happen to be moving away from using a dryer. All in all, these pants are great! After more than a dozen washings each and a couple of months of wear, I am still pleased with the pants and their price.... this particular pair were:1. a little larger, though not aggressively so.2. sent with a damaged drawstring. The hidden part of the drawstring was broken in half in the back, so the first time I pulled on the external ends the whole cord came out of the pants in two equal parts ... not what I expected. :- )... and then finding a similar cord to use as a drawstring, threading a smaller string through the narrow drawstring channel with a crochet needle bit by bit, then carefully pulling the bigger string through the channel with the smaller string ... was what I would call a challenge. :- )I'm sure the next pair will be fine.I love these pants! My old baggies had holes and I was reluctant to buy new ones. I usually have a problem with length. I’m 120 and 5’9 so most Chef pants are either too short or shrink to short after washing. These are the perfect length and hold up nicely in the wash. I’ve had these for a few months now and they’re my favorite. I love the side pocket I can keep my lighter and cigs in there rather than carry them my pocket with my restaurant keys or phone.I ordered size small and they are def snug so I’d go up a size. I’m ordering more for sure.I am a chef and I have been wearing pants like these for 30 years. I love them. The louder and crazier they are the better. Besides no one can see the dirt with these pants as compared to kitchen checks and whites. I just wish we had inseme choices, I got my pants and still had to wait a week to get hemmed. This is the first clothing item I've ordered online via amazon, and it's always nerve racking.I got 3 pairs of the 5x because I was worried about the 3x or 4x being too snug around my thighs and hips.No problem! Im 6'0, with 54" hips, these may be the first pants I've ever bought where I may have to hem them and everything is just baggy enough without falling off my butt! (Also thank goodness for the drawstring)Size: 4/5 I got what I ordered, but the hemming is a bit of a bust.Material: 5/5 durable, faded very little after first washShipping: 2/5 no overnight option.( Boo) I expedited for $20 and it still took 5 business days.It has two side (slash) pockets, one on the left rear side and one on the right thigh area. An additional rear pocket on the right rear side would make these pants even better. They are light-weight and woven -- just what I was looking for, to use for casual wear around the house. Conventional sweatpants are too heavy, baggy, hot, and look sloppy. Knit pants are fine for yoga or the gym, but they tend to snag on things when you are working around the house, basement or kitchen.I purchased these pant for my son. Although the material is a bit lightweight, the pants fit well, are roomy and given the low price work well for their purpose. In fact I ordered 2 more pair so he should have enough for work. I would and will probably order more as needed. Overall, they are a good deal. I think they would work well for any large person as they are very roomy and good length as well. Definitely a good buy. This is a man size pants it's too big. Too baggy. It doesn't look like feel like cotton at all. Material makes my skin itch
