30+ year beekeeper. I usually wear a jacket and hood but like to have a full suit for moving bees, removing supers or working with hot hives. My 25 year old English manufactured suit needed a new hood. I bought this new suit for less than the replacement hood. It's extremely well made, a bit heavy (better to resist stings) and has some nice features like Velcro sleeve closures and elastic thumb loops. Zippers are quality as is the screened hood. This is a well-made suit that will inspire confidence in new beekeepers and afford good protection when working hot hives. Of course no suit is completely sting-proof, but this is probably as close as it gets. Good price as well.
